Just wanted to wish the lot of you a merry winter solstice, hannuka, christmas, yule, or maybe just a great time spent with close family and friends (for those of us of a non-religious persuasion). Whether in blazing Australian sunshine down under or buried in snow drifts near the arctic circle, have a great one!

I wish you all peace, goodwill, and time well-spent in the company of loved ones.

(and maybe a nice plane, chisel, or set of unobtanium rosewood (Cuban Mahogany for Colin) under the holiday shrub of your choosing...)

Arm's doing as well as can be expected; just past the 4 week mark today, and I can type again, and mobility is getting better each day. Check-up X-ray on the 4th (see if the bones are touching, like), but until then it's still a 'no strain' situation; no picking stuff up, no pushing on things, etc, so no real shop sorting. Luckily, my dad's here for the holidays and he's offered to help me do the heavy lifting to sort out the shop area, so I may have a ready-to-use shop by the time I can use it.

In the meantime, three Big Red Books will keep me busy reading for a while :)
